This week’s featured researcher is Jose from Mexico. He is a bilingual internal medicine and infectious disease physician. His education includes medical school in Mexico City and specialty training at University of Texas at Houston. He likes to do Article One Research because it helps him to keep up on his research in various topics relating to his profession.
Where do you live?
Cuernavaca, Mexico. Which is located about 45 minutes south of Mexico city, it is called the eternal spring city because of the gorgeous weather we enjoy all-year round.
What, if any, background do you have in patent research or research in general?
I conduct multiple clinical trials for pharmaceutical companies, which is why I am somehow familiar with patents in the medical area.
Please explain your expertise which you find most relevant to your work with Article One?
I am a researcher myself conducting pharmaceutical clinical trials, which are then submitted for FDA approval and patent registration.
How do you choose which studies you participate in?
I do research on pharmaceutical / biological / medical studies because of my background.
Which research tools do you frequently use?
Mostly online medical literature.
What advice would you give to a new Researcher participating in his/her first Article One Study?
Do not search for the exact words but rather understand the whole idea and look for synonymous words.
