Article One Announces $25,000 Bonus for 2010
Posted on Wed, Feb 16, 2011
We are delighted to announce that we are paying a total of $25,000 in bonus as profit-sharing compensation from Article One for 2010. The bonus will be shared among our active Researchers. By March 1st, we will send out individual emails to Researchers who have actively participated in Article One, whether by submitting responses, referring other Researchers or contributing to our forum actively. The email will detail the amount due to each eligible Researcher based on the title and points earned in 2010. In addition, we will announce the terms of the Profit Sharing Plan for 2011 on March 1st.
We have been honored to work with this tremendous community and officially recognize the broad contributions with this bonus payment. This bonus does not reflect a profit-sharing percentage; we project profitability for Article One at a future time. However, we have allocated compensation in the form of a bonus to recognize the milestones our community has achieved.
Researchers who are eligible for compensation under this bonus plan will be required to file tax forms and other financial requirements in order to receive their payments. Please refer to the Compensation Agreement.
Researchers also have the option to donate their profit-sharing payments to a worthy cause. To mark Rare Disease Day on February 28, 2011, Article One invites the community to support the research to find a cure for Glut1 DS, a rare disease that prevents the brain from getting the energy it needs to function properly.
