Donate for Rare Disease Day to Research for Glut1 DS

Rare Disease DayOn Monday, February 28th, the world will be celebrating Rare Disease Day.  To help support the efforts to cure rare diseases around the world, Article One is calling for our Researchers to join the cause.

Rare Disease Day was started in 2008 by EURODIS, an advocacy group in Europe. With the goal of building awareness for rare diseases, Rare Disease Day has grown through connections and alliances in over 25 countries.  Fundraising and awareness events will be held in over 40 countries including Russia, China, Japan, the U.S., and most of Europe.

Article One Partners will be sending out the annual profit-sharing payments in the coming weeks, and we invite our researchers to donate part of their winnings to Milestones for Children's research towards a cure for Glut1 DS.  Milestones for Children was founded in 2008 and supports a variety of research intitiatives around Glut1 DS.  Glut1 DS is a rare disease that prevents the brain from getting the energy it needs to function properly.

Please consider this, and other charities, as a way to help others and share your success through Article One Partners.  We are grateful to have such talented and enthusiastic researchers, and we hope that you will take this opportunity to join the world in celebrating Rare Disease Day.

I believe that we have a responsibility to provide support for one another. We can utilize our "intellectual capital" to positively affect someone’s life. Now is the opportune time to act!
