Monica Winghart to Present at Global IP Offshoring Discussion
Posted on Tue, Feb 14, 2012
Article One Partners General Counsel Monica Winghart will be participating in an online panel discussion hosted by KPO Consultants on Wednesday, February 15th. The discussion is entitled “Global IP Offshoring Panel Discussion – Trends and Challenges in IP Offshoring,” and will feature commentary from a distinguished panel of six IP professionals with both in-house corporate and law firm perspectives.
The panel discussion is directed at IP professionals looking to better navigate the ever-changing global IP industry by outsourcing solutions to fit their company's (or firm's) IP needs. The conference will focus on answering two major questions: "As an IP counsel/law firm partner, how can you lead your organization to growth in new markets?" and "What operational framework must you have in place to implement a successful IP services outsourcing strategy?" The panel discussion will also be useful for IP service providers to better understand the needs of potential clients and partners in the space.
For her part, Monica will provide insights on crowdsourcing as an alternative model for traditional offshoring practices. Monica brings a unique perspective that combines her prior experience in a corporate setting with the startup environment of Article One's crowdsourced model. This combination will make the presentation relevant for both in-house counsel and those seeking an innovative new solution.
